Weather across Europe has become unpredictable -- with temperatures reaching extreme highs and lows.
Poor insulation and inflated energy prices make it tough for many of us to stay comfortable during extreme colds and heatwaves. And it’s not only homes that are impacted -- schools, daycares, and even some offices cannot heat or cool appropriately.
The European Central Bank alongside national central banks such as Banque de France, Banque Nationale de Belgique, Deutsche Bundesbank, Banco de Portugal and Banco de España need to push for low interest rate loans for insulation renovations.
This morning, activists, and NGOs took to the streets of Paris, Lisbon, and Brussels to demand action from their national central banks. Other organizations joined the action online, including in Germany and Spain.
