Poor insulation and inflated energy prices make it tough for many of us to stay comfortable during extreme colds and heatwaves. And it’s not only homes that are impacted -- schools, daycares, and even some offices can not heat or cool appropriately.
The key to end this is in the hands of EU governments: with public grants and investments with 0% interest rate loans for insulation renovations could change the game. In other words: instead of giving more money to corrupt fossil fuel companies, our own taxes should be used on us and our personal health and safety.
The Presidents of the European Commission and the European Central Bank, Ursula von der Leyen and Christine Lagarde, are responsible for us citizens! To ensure they act in the public interest, we want to call them out publicly by gathering all of our voices.
Tell Ursula von der Leyen and Christine Lagarde to ensure that our homes become energy efficient.
