Farmers in Niger have grown 200 MILLION trees in dusty, drought-prone landscape – without planting a single sapling!
It’s a miracle regeneration story and now tiny grassroots groups in other African countries want to do the same – and they’re asking for our help.
The good news is that the whole thing is super simple to execute – planting other crops strategically in areas with leftover tree stumps. But we need to help the cash-strapped groups spreading this game-changing technique to do a massive outreach effort and provide training and mentoring to the farmers that need it.
This could help fight climate change AND boost hundreds of subsistence farmers’ incomes. Can you chip in to kickstart a new forest revolution?
