Gunmen shot at Máxima's home only hours after she won the Goldman Prize for her work in stopping Newmont Mining from building a giant, polluting mine on her land. 

Newmont has shown no signs of ending its legal action against Máxima -- Newmont-sponsored security personnel are stationed on her property around the clock.

It's clear that these private security agents will keep harassing her until she gives up.
