Your Whirlpool tumble dryer could start a fire in your house! In August, after use of a Whirlpool tumble dryer caused a massive fire in West London, fire chiefs immediately asked the retail giant to urge customers to discontinue use.
Whirlpool, a brand known and trusted worldwide, is wilfully failing customers. After finally updating its website (only after receiving two enforcement notices from trading standards) it is still planning only to repair the devices. This action just isn’t enough to keep consumers safe.
Since then, instances of serious fires linked to the Hotpoint, Indesit, and Creda models of Whirlpool dryers have escalated. It's time for Whirpool to take action.

Instead of instantly following the advice of experts, Whirlpool made the decision to continue to put customers lives at risk by refusing to recall the faulty devices. The company even assured users they were safe -- provided they didn’t leave the dryer unattended. This just isn’t true.
