Water bottling companies say they're selling “100% mountain spring water” – but what if the water they pump is instead pesticide-laden groundwater?
The owner of one of the major water brands in the U.S., Arrowhead Spring Water, won't answer any questions about why its latest permit is for groundwater, instead of one for spring water.
So we're going to get the answers ourselves -- hiring expert hydrogeologists to study how Arrowhead water is pumped. That's the only way we'll know if the water is actually groundwater… and what kind of pesticides it might contain when it’s pumped.
We’ve been fighting corporate water thievery for years, and if we can prove that what they’re selling isn’t actually spring water, we’ll shake up the whole industry.
Can you chip in to help us hire the scientists necessary to conduct this study? We need to find out for ourselves.
