Two states in the U.S. could stand between Bayer and Monsanto’s merger: Utah and Iowa. Farmers make up a large part of these states, and they’re not happy with the merger. A quasi monopoly of seeds and pesticides would squeeze family farmers even further, driving many into ruin.
But it’s election season. If we can convince politicians that the Bayer-Monsanto merger is a make or break for their re-election, they will do everything in their power to protect ordinary citizens like you and me from this corporate overreach.
That is why we need your help. Monsanto and Bayer’s lobbyists are pushing hard to win approval in the US senate right now. Can you chip in so that we can commission an opinion poll and strengthening our campaign efforts in these two states?
Please chip in to stop this merger from hell!
