Bayer-Monsanto is an agrochemical monster. And people—from jurors to stockbrokers—are starting to treat it that way.

A California jury just awarded $2 billion in damages to a California couple who blamed their cancer on the company’s Roundup weed killer—with more than 13,000 cases still waiting to be decided.

So it’s no surprise that Bayer’s share price has plummeted by $38 billion in market value. Cap it all off with a vote of no-confidence in CEO Werner Baumann at the mega-corporations annual shareholder meeting, and you’ve got a recipe for cutting the GMO Frankenstein corporation down to size.

With Bayer on the defensive, it’s time for us to turn up the pressure. That’s why we’re hitting Home Depot with a Tweetstorm calling on the chain to finally drop Bayer-Monsanto’s Roundup and other cancer-causing pesticide products. It’ll send a strong message to Bayer-Monsanto: that suppliers won’t be complicit in poisoning the planet with toxic pesticides.

Tweet to call on Home Depot to drop Roundup and other cancer-causing pesticides.

We can’t sit by as the government does nothing to stop mass exposure to Monsanto’s toxic glyphosate. It’s time we take matters into our own hand and demand retailers like Home Depot pull glyphosate products from its shelves.

We’ve pushed Home Depot to do the right thing before. After almost 750,000 SumOfUs members asked huge North American retailers to stop selling bee-harming neonics, Home Depot listened. With the same numbers, we can make history again by getting Roundup off the shelves.

A Tweetstorm helps us put the public eye straight on Home Depot to ask: when will Home Depot do the right thing and protect customers from Roundup and other toxic glyphosate products? Make sure your voice is heard and join the conversation now.

Join the Tweetstorm and tell Home Depot: don’t help Bayer-Monsanto poison the planet!
