Trump and the GOP’s “health care” bill is as bad as expected -- it will leave 22 million more Americans uninsured over the next ten years. That’s 22 million more Americans losing access to the life-saving care, medication, and treatment they need without shelling out outrageous sums or going into crushing debt. This cut will come mostly from defunding Medicaid, the hugely important program aiding the working poor, elderly and disabled. And the rest of America will be left to suffer. This “healthcare” bill is nothing more than a tax break for the 1% that will drastically exaggerate the country’s economic and social inequality. The Guardian called it “the largest single transfer of wealth to the rich from the middle class and poor in American history.” It’s time for our representatives to hear from all of us.
