TIAA: Retire Adani and Fossil Fuels

TIAA adeptly markets itself as a socially responsible company that will protect the savings of some of America’s most caring professions into retirement. But the companies' $1.4 trillion portfolio is awash in fossil fuel investments - over $78 billion.

TIAA is also one of the most heavily invested in bonds of the Adani Group, the biggest private coal operator in the world.

A company that markets itself as socially responsible has no place investing in a coal expansion company like Adani. And TIAA needs to feel sustained pressure to quit fossil fuels and deny debt to Adani.

Will you remind CEO Thasunda Brown Duckett once again that TIAA needs to deny debt to Adani and rule out further investments in the coal giant by sending her an email?
