Thousands of temporary workers at Volkswagen plants in China are paid half what their permanent counterparts are making for the same work.
VW is taking advantage of these temporary workers and breaking Chinese labour laws which explicitly state equal pay for temporary and permanent workers.
1500 of these brave workers have stood up Volkswagen and are taking VW to court to demand it pay their outstanding wages. They are not only standing for their own rights but the rights of other temporary workers in VW plants across China.
Sign today to demand VW pay temporary workers fairly.
VW is vulnerable to public outcry. It cares about its image. However, it has struggled to do the right thing in the past, like when it falsified emissions standards on millions of vehicles.
This is why additional pressure, from caring people like you, is needed to ensure that VW is held accountable and pays its workers fairly.
By standing with these temporary workers, you are helping to amplify their voices and ensure VW stops taking advantage of its workers.
Please join me in signing to ensure Volkswagen pays its temporary workers fairly.
