Lawmakers are so concerned that several states are rushing through bills which will force the likes of YouTube and TikTok to prioritize the safety and privacy of kids online.

But Big Tech is spending millions strong-arming politicians to vote against the plans. They’ve even launched a new "litigation center" to tie these new laws up in the courts for years.

Our researcher set up accounts posing as a 13-year old, and within a few clicks on the platform, the algorithm was filled with content about suicide and even instructions on how to do it.

It’s absurd that the likes of TikTok and YouTube want to block laws that would protect kids when rates of anxiety and depression are rocketing among teens - and when experts agree that social media is helping to fuel it.
