Uber has been under fire lately for its associations with Donald Trump. The CEO has recently stepped down from Trump's business council after considerable public pressure from its customers.
Now it's time to get it to take the next step. Uber ads are still showing up on Breitbart, the white nationalist website that helped get Trump elected.
Breitbart spreads hate and misinformation, going so far as to call on women to not study as much math and science and endorsing the creation of a separate white state.
Breitbart's brand of racist, sexist and xenophobic rhetoric has no place in our society and Uber needs to stop giving it advertising money.
Tell Uber to stop funding hate speech and remove the ads immediately.
Already, 800 other companies have joined together to hit Breitbart's bottom line and remove their ads from the website. Now its Uber's turn.
Uber obviously cares what its customers think and is willing to change its behaviour to satisfy its customers. If we come together now and keep the pressure on, we can ensure that Uber's advertising dollars are not going to Breitbart.
SumOfUs has been successful so far in getting hundreds of companies to remove their ads. With the help of passionate people like you we can ensure that Uber is added to the list.
Join with me and tell Uber to pull its ads from Breitbart.
