TD Bank Group is taking advantage of its customers. In a recent investigation by CBC, three tellers came forward to say that their sales goals are unrealistic and in order to reach them, and keep their jobs, they are selling customers products and services they don't need and could hurt them financially.
TD Bank Group has steadily increased profits, reporting $8.9 billion in profits in 2016. It's getting this money partially through selling products and services to people who can't afford them.
This must stop. The most vulnerable are people on fixed incomes such as veterans and seniors, who stand to lose the most from these sneaky tactics.
