UPDATE: Lexus and 50 other advertisers have pulled their ads from the O'Reilly Factor!
Trigger warning: content refers to sexual assault.
A bombshell New York Times investigation has revealed that Fox News shelled out over $13 million to keep multiple sexual harassment allegations against Bill O'Reilly out of the public eye.
The O'Reilly Factor is the number one show on cable TV, and Fox News chose to pay millions in hush money to keep its #1 show out of the courts and media instead of giving justice to survivors.
Last summer, Fox's former CEO Roger Ailes was fired after another sexual harassment scandal -- and Fox promised it would not tolerate any behavior that disrespects women. Fox has clearly not learned its lesson.
Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Hyundai just became the first major advertisers to officially drop Fox News over the scandal. Can you help make sure other companies follow suit?
Tell companies still advertising with O'Reilly to pull their ad money now.
The women allegedly targeted by O'Reilly were all anchors, journalists, and producers who saw their careers cut short because of his abuse. And get this: Fox News allegedly paid out sexual harassment settlement claims in salaries to not have to report them to investors and shareholders.
O'Reilly's lack of respect for women was plain long before the New York Times' investigation -- just last week he came under fire for hurling racially-tinged insults at Congresswoman Maxine Waters in an attempt to discredit her based on her appearance.
The O'Reilly Factor brings in $111 million each year in ad revenue. So far, that money has been the main reason Fox News has tried to sweep O'Reilly's reprehensible actions under the rug. But we can also use these advertising dollars to finally get justice for O'Reilly's survivors and get O'Reilly off the air -- for good.
This story is so explosive that there's no way any respectable company will want its name attached to a serial sexual abuser. Hitting Fox News where it hurts -- its bottom line -- is the most effective way to make sure these women finally get real justice.
Yesterday, Mercedes-Benz became the first company to drop its ads with The O'Reilly Factor -- and SumOfUs members can get more to follow.

Last year, SumOfUs members in Canada banded together to hold a major airline and its CEO accountable for failing to respond to flight attendants that had been assaulted by pilots.
And together with our partners The Sleeping Giants, we've helped convince over 1,750 companies to pull ads from Breitbart (a.k.a. Trump News) for hateful content that denigrates women, refugees, and people of color.
If we pile the pressure on Fox News now, O'Reilly could finally be held to account -- and we can make sure Fox News learns it can't use hush money to stifle justice.
