I am a mother of two beautiful children, and I know I don’t want any more kids. But accidents happen.

I also live in Tennessee, one of the states with a “trigger law” that will immediately make it illegal to get an abortion if the US Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade. That is why I am terrified right now.

If the Supreme Court adopts the draft opinion leaked to the public on Monday, it is estimated that, like me, 36 million women, transgender and nonbinary people will be robbed of our right to a safe abortion.

But there are groups working tirelessly in states all over the US to remove barriers to abortion access – whether those barriers are legal, logistical, or financial. And now more than ever, they need your support.
