Energy Transfer Partners, the same company behind the Dakota Access Pipeline, is trying to build another pipeline, this time through the Louisiana bayou.
The Bayou Bridge pipeline expansion would span 160 miles of Southern Louisiana. It would endanger local drinking water and increase risks of flooding, especially during hurricane season.
Despite local opposition Energy Transfer Partners is trying to push the project through. However, we can stop them!
Sign today to stop the Bayou Bridge pipeline.
The pipeline threatens local ecosystems and could seriously stress the crayfish and fish populations. This could lead to local food scarcity and economic insecurity for those who rely on the bayou for food and income.
The Governor of Louisiana is susceptible to public pressure. He knows that the pipeline threatens the long-term environmental and economic health of the state.
The people of Louisiana have already been protesting. With added pressure from people like you, we can amplify their voices and ensure that this destructive pipeline is never built.
Please join me in putting an end to the Bayou Bridge pipeline project.
