Argentina is living a pesticide nightmare: in the 25 years since glyphosate was approved, cancer cases have tripled and birth defects have shot up 400%!
But an independent lab (the Chemistry and Environmental Pollution Group) is fighting back. They run tests on the water in town after town, and when the results show local people are drinking poison, communities have been able to go to court and win back their clean water.
The lab charges as little as it can for the work -- often even doing it out of their own pocket. So they desperately need funding to keep equipment updated, pay staff, and run the tests.
Can you chip in to help towns get clean drinking water and end Argentina's pesticide nightmare?
