South African activists have lodged a complaint that coal giant Resgen is committing human rights abuses to Australia’s export finance agency (Efic) -- the body that could fund Resgen’s Boikarabelo mine.
Francina Nkosi is a local activist who is fighting the global coal industry from the South African town of Lephalale.
Francina's telling us that Resgen is threatening to displace her and other people in local communities, it’s blocking grieving families from visiting their relatives’ graves, and it's broken promises to deliver urgent services including a school, sanitation, water and electricity.
You can act to stop this abuse by standing in solidarity with Francina and the women of Lephalale.
