TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat are drowning kids in toxic content, driving eating disorders and a mental health crisis among students. Experts are warning it is negatively affecting the size of their brains – and now a landmark case can change this.
Seattle Public Schools is suing the social media platforms in a landmark case and the hearings are imminent. If enough of us show our support we can deliver this campaign during a key hearing outside Seattle’s District Court.
Let’s spotlight our solidarity and carve the way for a safer and healthier internet for our kids.

Schools are broken from covering the costs of the alarming rise in mental and emotional health disorders among students. While teachers are burning out and students are breaking down, big tech made 54 billion USD in revenue just last year from toxic surveillance ads.
The companies themselves even know the harms of their platforms. Whistleblowers exposed how tech executives were aware of the harm to children and they did nothing about it.
It is simply not fair. Big tech and their lobbies are working on overdrive to stop progressive tech legislation and to hide this public health emergency – but if we show our support we can outmaneuver them.
Seattle Public Schools are suing the tech giants under a ‘public nuisance claim’ Such claims pushed back against the tobacco industry before, and are being used to hold oil companies responsible for climate change now.
This is the moment where we can forever change big tech’s harmful business model.
