- Disinformation is a endangering global democracy, helping win power for autocrats, spread doubt about elections, and turn QAnon into a global phenomenon
- It is clear that self-regulation doesn't work and we need new laws to force platforms to act, with tough sanctions for those that break them. We regulate other sectors -- even media! -- so why not big tech?
