France just approved a new bee-killing neonicotinoid from Dow Chemical called Sulfoxaflor -- in defiance of the first-ever outright ban of neonics that we fought so hard to pass.
So with our partner, Génération Futures -- a French environmental group -- we got straight to work and took the decision to court. The first round of hearings were last week, and we won!
But we've just heard Dow Chemicals is appealing our victory to the French Supreme Court. Dow's not giving up, it's doubling down.
If we lose, it means the French neonics ban starting in 2018 might not be worth the paper it's written on. But if we win, it will defend one of the most important victories for bees we've ever had.
Can you chip in to help save the bees and fund this lawsuit to enforce France’s bee-killing pesticide ban?
