At Safari World zoo, in Thailand, orangutans are forced into a show where they "box" one another as well as performing other stressful tricks. Not only is this an incomprehensible form of entertainment, it is a dangerous and cruel treatment of these majestic animals.
Orangutans naturally live in an arboreal situation, swinging from trees and walking on all fours. Forcing them to stand on their feet to "box" is a painful and unnatural way for them to behave.
Animals should not be held in captivity and forced to perform for tourists' entertainment. This is a cruel exploitation of these beautiful animals.
Sign today to tell Safari World to stop its orangutan boxing show.

Recently, members like you helped SumOfUs stop orca captivity in California and forced SeaWorld to stop its orca show. We know we have the power to influence the decisions of zoos to prevent animal cruelty.
By joining together with other concerned and active citizens like yourself, we can ensure that Safari World zoo is no longer forcing orangutans to box and perform for entertainment.
