The worst palm oil company in the world? Probably Indofood, a company owned by Indonesia’s richest man. It does business with PepsiCo and Nestlé -- and if we don’t put a stop to it, there’s not much hope for the orangutans or the palm oil plantation workers.
We need to break the ties between Indofood and companies like PepsiCo that claim to do the right thing on palm oil. If we do, it’ll leave Indofood isolated, its cover as a legitimate company completely blown. Indofood will have no choice but to change how it does business.
With your generous support, we will target Pepsi, Nestlé, but also the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil, the industry’s mains certifying body and pressure them to blacklist Indofood until it puts an end to its palm oil destruction.
