The proposal to try to stop deforestation and the destruction of orangutans’ homes has been delayed AGAIN.
Australia and New Zealand's failure to introduce palm oil labelling has dragged on for over five years, allowing senseless rainforest destruction to continue.
Our countries are lagging behind the E.U., U.S., and Canada. We need your help to push harder.
Things are moving in the right direction but we need your help to build the movement for mandatory palm oil labelling. We deserve to know what we’re putting into our bodies and the impact of the products we use on the world’s rainforests.

This issue means a lot to our community, so thanks so much to those who got involved and turned up the pressure on your ministers!
Swathes and swathes of orangutan habitat have been destroyed over the last two decades, prompting the UN to declare it a "conservation emergency". Experts estimate up to 5,000 orangutans die each year as a result.

Experts have told us that costs to the industry were negligible. Giving consumers more choice and helping save the rainforest and orangutans, however, is priceless.
The ministerial forum had a job to do -- and once again it failed.
That’s why we need your help to keep up the pressure and show ministers that there's a huge movement that supports mandatory palm oil labelling.

We've already made waves in stopping big companies' use of conflict palm oil: hundreds of thousands of you have consistently come together, making Starbucks, Dunkin' Donuts, and the likes commit to using responsible palm oil.
We have the right to know what's going in our food and whether it's ethical. We need your help to keep up the pressure to make sure our ministers hear our message loud and clear: we want mandatory palm oil labelling on our products.
