Each year, Procter & Gamble buys more than 600,000 tonnes of palm oil to make everything from shampoo to toothpaste – and too much of it is still grown on bulldozed rainforest and stolen Indigenous land, wreaking havoc on lives and livelihoods.
For years P&G’s leadership has ignored calls to end deforestation, even when they came from its founders’ descendants. But the clock is ticking, and P&G won’t be able to ignore us any longer if we all come together as consumers, shareholders, workers and investors. Together, we can make P&G’s upcoming annual meeting all about its nasty deforestation problem!
If we can make this massive with your help, we can push this consumer giant to change how it sources its megatonnes of palm oil – which will, in turn, help clean up the entire dirty palm oil industry until every shampoo, toothpaste, and detergent is 100% deforestation-free.
Add your name to tell P&G: No more deforestation!
