** UPDATE: The judge just ruled in Nestlé's favour, but the folks at Osceola Township appealed the decision. They need our help to cover legal costs -- please can you chip in to help stand up to Nestlé?
-----------
Osceola Township, with a population of less than 2,000, is being sued by Nestlé -- a mega-corporation with virtually limitless resources to spend on lawyers -- all so it can pump even more water from Michigan and sell for a huge profit.
The Township denied Nestlé's application to build a booster station so it can pump 400 gallons per minute. So Nestlé got mad and is suing.
The hearing starts in just two weeks and Osceola Township is already $30,000 in debt from fighting Nestlé. Osceola Township members just reached out to SumOfUs seeking our help to pay for the legal fees knowing that time and time again, you've stopped Nestlé all over the world.
With your donation now, we'll help ensure that Osceola Township isn’t bullied into giving up any more of its precious groundwater to Nestlé.
Will you chip in to help to fight this outrageous lawsuit?
