More evidence has
emerged about Monsanto’s efforts to cover up proof that glyphosate, the main
ingredient in its flagship product, causes cancer.
Emails obtained from court documents suggest that Monsanto conspired to ghostwrite “academic”
research in order to refute lawsuits stemming from their use of glyphosate. What’s worse, the electronic correspondence also shows that the
corporation plotted with a senior level official at the Environmental
Protection Agency to stop a damning review about the toxic herbicide.
They've been caught redhanded, and still Monsanto refuses to be honest about what’s happening
behind closed doors.
Sign the petition and ask Monsanto what
its hiding. Demand it stop ghostwriting papers on Roundup’s cancer risks.
Countless lawsuits allege that Monsanto has known for
decades about hazards posed by the use of glyphosate -- and schemed with the EPA
to cover it up. According
to records, one agency official even bragged that he “deserved a medal” if he
could end another agencies investigation into the chemical.
Monsanto continues to
deny allegations that the herbicide causes Hodgkins lymphoma. Now, court
records have exposed more about its web of lies and the public is closer to
knowing the truth. We can work together
to help push Monsanto to come clean.
Sign the petition and
challenge Monsanto to stop the cover-up and cease ghostwriting papers on
Roundup’s cancer risks, now.
