McDonald’s just doesn't get it. The fast food giant is forcing a new restaurant on the town of Tecoma in the Dandenong ranges despite over 90 percent of residents opposing the project. The local council voted not to approve the proposed restaurant so McDonald’s took them to the Victorian Civil Administrative Tribunal to have the decision overturned.
The people of Tecoma are fighting tooth and nail to stop the fast food giant from opening: they have held protests, occupied the site and built an impressive media campaign, and next week they will deliver their petition to McDonald's headquarters in the U.S. They need the support of thousands of Australians like you to make sure McDonald’s backs down.
Use the form on the right to sign our petition to McDonald’s telling it to withdraw from Tecoma immediately.
We need to show McDonald’s once and for all that its aggressive tactics won’t work.
