In one of the last places you can touch land before you reach Antarctica, whales, dolphins, protected fur seals and rare long-nosed seals share the ocean with species found nowhere else on Earth – and with your help we could protect them and their marine home.
Tasmania is one of the last pristine marine habitats in the world, renowned for its crystal-blue waters and the freshest air in the world. But a daily bombardment of underwater explosives set off by industrial salmon producers is threatening to destroy it – and the native seal population.
That’s why we’re fighting to protect this ecosystem and give threatened seals and other rare species a chance to survive. Your donation will go to:
- Travel for a community leader on the frontlines to attend a crucial shareholder vote in one week,
- Delivering your 170,000+ signatures along with a spectacular billboard calling on them to publicly commit to stop using these devastating explosives,
- Hiring legal experts to collect evidence, prove to government regulators that they are breaking seal protection laws, and support regulation to end the use of these explosives, and more!
Just 5000 of us chipping in - the cost of a cup of coffee is enough to make all this happen. Can you help save this irreplaceable marine ecosystem?
