We’re just 2 weeks away from Kroger’s annual shareholder meeting, and we're working overtime to get the grocery chain to stop selling food grown with bee-killing pesticides off its shelves.
So far, Lowe’s, Walmart, True Value and Home Depot, have all agreed to stop the sale of neonics in their stores and is stepping up to protect the bees. But Kroger is refusing to follow suit and do the right thing.
That’s why we’re showing up at the company’s annual shareholder meeting in Cincinnati where executives from around the country will be gathering, to show them that we won’t back down in doing all that we can to save the bees.
Will you raise your voice and tell Kroger to stop killing the bees?
The studies are clear: the bees are in distress, and without substantial action from the EPA, moving corporations like Kroger to do the right thing for the bees is more important than ever. In 2018 alone, US beekeepers lost 40% of their hives, and neonics and climate change are partially to blame.
Tell Kroger to do the right thing and protect the bees.
