Amazing news: Yesterday, parliament voted to pass Motion M-151 that recommends legislation for creating a comprehensive framework to tackle the global plastics crisis.

This is a HUGE win! The motion was passed with a unanimous vote of 288 to 0. This means that soon, Canada will ban non-essential, single-use plastics so that corporations like Nestlé, McDonald’s and Coca-Cola are no longer polluting our oceans with their waste.
