Because the SumOfUs Community Petitions website is paid for by the members of the SumOfUs community, our standards of use reflect our community's values. This includes, but is not limited to any campaigns or other activity that:
- is inconsistent with the goals, objectives, philosophies, and/or purpose of SumOfUs and/or the majority of its members
- advocates hate, violence, abuse, threats, or harm against any group or individual
- harasses or encourage others to harass any group or individual
- promotes racism, bigotry, misogyny, hatred, or physical harm of any kind
- contributes to the spread of disinformation
- fails to recognise or promote the rights of and central role of Indigenous Peoples in our communities, especially with regard to land rights and community self-determination
- violates existing rights, laws or obligations under local, national or international law
