I have some alarming news about your victory to ban bee-killing pesticides in Canada -- if Bayer has its way it won’t be worth the paper it’s written on.
I just got off the phone with Canadian government officials: they are postponing the final decision on the ban. The reason: apparently there’s “new scientific evidence” that must be considered. This sounds like the work of Bayer’s lobbyists.
But we know the science is clear -- neonics are killing bees.
We need to make sure that pesticide giant Bayer is not feeding corporate studies to the government to kill the proposed ban -- before it’s too late for the bees.
With your help we’re going to make sure that the Canadian government can’t ignore the real science by mobilising scientists around the world and hiring an investigative researcher to blow open the secrecy around the decision.
Can you chip in to protect the neonic ban in Canada and save the bees?
