Juma, a beautiful Amazonian jaguar, was shot dead after being used as a “mascot” during an Olympic ceremony in Brazil.
Juma was drugged, chained, and paraded around a torch ceremony -- and shot dead when they escaped in fear.
Juma’s brutal death has caused global outrage -- and focused the global media’s attention on Rio. With just 3 weeks to go until the Olympic Games start, we're using the outrage of Juma’s death to launch Rio Watch -- to push for accountability at the Olympics.
Can you please chip in to kickstart our campaign for accountability in Rio?

From holding major Olympic sponsor Dow Chemical to account for the Bhopal disaster, to calling Coke to speak out against Russia’s anti-gay crackdown, the SumOfUs community has been pushing for years for accountability at the Olympic games.
Together, let’s make sure that on 5 August 2016 when 12,000 of the world’s best athletes congregate in Rio de Janeiro to compete, that the world actually knows what is going on in Rio.
