Bill Maher is notoriously unfunny but recently he has become downright offensive. Not only did he invite former Breitbart editor Milo Yiannopoulos, a blatant racist, misogynist and transphobe onto his show, but he shared Islamophobic comments with him and his guests. 

This is not funny. Perpetuating hateful rhetoric towards Muslims puts them at risk of physical harm and should not be promoted by any major broadcaster. 

However, Islamophobia is the not the only problem. On a show in 1998 Maher defended a teacher who had been charged in a case of having sex with her 12 year old student. He defended her actions and said the boy would have wanted it. He never issued an apology for his comments. 

This type of public endorsement of pedophilia and dismissiveness of the long-term psychological damage on children has no place on the air. 

It's time HBO dropped Bill Maher. Sign today!

HBO is vulnerable to public pressure. Milo Yiannopoulos just lost a book deal and his position at Breitbart for similar comments on pedophilia. No broadcaster wants to be associated with pedophilia. 

With a big push back from people like you, Maher's comments will not go unnoticed. Together we can ensure that he is taken off of HBO and faces the consequences of promoting Islamophobia and pedophilia.
