800,000 USD in 48 hours -- that's how much Trump's lackey's have raised for him to pay off his legal fees on a GoFundMe page so far. And it's growing by the minute, giving Trump a slush fund to wreak havoc on the justice system and our democracy.

The page violates GoFundMe's terms of service that say you can't use the site to raise money to pay for the consequences of committing a crime, but the company has so far refused to take it down — likely fearing the backlash that will ensue.

We need to help GoFundMe be strong against the onslaught of Trump hate and enforce its existing rules, even and especially when it benefits someone so powerful.

Sign the open letter and then it share with everyone. The slush fund is growing by the second, and when we win every dollar gets returned to the original donor and Trump gets nothing!

Your terms of service clearly state that the site cannot be used to fundraise for "the legal defense of alleged financial and violent crimes" and yet you are letting Donald Trump generate a slush fund of cash for his legal bills without consequence. 

We, the people who know of and use your services and value the role it plays in society implore you to follow your own rules when it comes to Donald Trump. As the New York Attorney General says: "No matter how big, how rich, or how powerful you are, no one is above the law. Not even Donald Trump." We urge you to follow her brave lead and shut down this fundraising effort.
