Last year, Monsanto’s lobbyists managed to get the toxic weedkiller glyphosate re-licensed in Europe for another five years.
The World Health Organisation says that glyphosate can probably cause cancer -- and it’s so pervasive that it shows up everywhere, even in breast milk and baby food.
But now is our chance to turn the tables on Monsanto.
A tiny local government in Belgium is planning to sue the European Commission over its licensing of glyphosate in the European Court of Justice.
Standing up to Monsanto’s army of lawyers won’t be easy, so they’ve asked for our help to make sure that we can win this case.
This may be our best and last chance to reverse the Europe’s approval of glyphosate. Will you chip in to stop the spread of Monsanto’s toxic weed-killer?
