Liz Truss and her new government now want to bribe people to accept fracking on their doorsteps. And if that doesn’t work, bypass local decision-making completely.

Truss and business secretary Jabob Rees-Mogg have even caved to frackers’ demand to raise the level of seismic activity fracking can cause.

Nobody voted to bring back fracking in England: it’s not safe, it won’t reduce energy bills and will only hasten climate breakdown.
