The war in Yemen has just entered its fourth year. The unbearable destruction has pushed eight million people to the brink of starvation, and the country is on the verge of becoming a failed state.
Far from ignoring the crisis, France and its weapons companies have been making a killing from it, selling arms to countries bombing Yemen, including Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
But a spring tide of opposition is rising fast. More than 75% of French people want President Macron to stop the arms exports, according to polling which SumOfUs released with partners in March.
France is the world's third largest arms exporter though. So only a massive national and international campaign can overcome the power of French war profiteers and weapons manufacturers.
Tell President Macron to stop France's arms exports to countries bombing Yemen, and make France's arms export licensing regime transparent and accountable to the parliament.
