Good news!

The day-to-day lives of millions of gig economy workers, like Uber and Deliveroo drivers, may be about to change thanks to a future European law. We managed to push Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) to agree on a bill that will regulate vicious labor practices of Uber and other platforms! This could not have happened without the pressure of thousands of SumOfUs members.

But there is still a hurdle to clear: some MEPs, especially from the EPP and RE political parties, are working hard to stop this bill from going through! In the coming hours, in the European Parliament, these MEPs, who are true Uber spokespersons, will try to gut the bill of everything that makes it great for workers.
