Barclays is holding its annual shareholder meeting on May 5, and is asking investors to support every resolution on the agenda except one -- a proposal to stop the bank funding more climate chaos.
The bank provided fossil fuel companies with over £105 billion between 2015 and 2020, and is showing no signs of slowing.
But a group of activists have filed a shareholder resolution that could force the bankers to change.
If you have a pension or mutual fund, it almost definitely includes shares in Barclays. Please tell your fund manager to vote for this climate shareholder resolution, and give our planet a chance.
