Around the world, corporations are threatening our communities by taking water from drought-ridden communities, and selling it off for a profit.
But we're fighting back.
We've helped stop Nestlé from bottling in Hood River, USA -- communities on the ground won an historic ballot initiative to ban the commercial bottling of water. It's the first time it's happened in the United States. We recently had a similar victory in New Zealand -- where a small community stopped the corporate buyout of its local water supply.
There's so much work to do in protecting our natural resources. We're still facing water fights in the US, Canada, and many other countries.
And we can't do it without your support. Can you please chip in to protect our water from greedy corporations wanting to make a quick buck?
