Campaign update: (March 11, 2017) Parade organizers have reversed their decision banning OutVets from participating!
Boston's St Patrick's Day parade recently announced that the veteran LGBT group OutVets could not participate in this year's march because their logo has a rainbow on it.
This is blatantly homophobic and should not happen. Veterans should be able to march in the parade no matter their sexual orientation.
Sponsors are already considering pulling out, including Anheuser-Busch, a major brewery sponsor.
Tell Anheuser-Busch to commit to pulling its sponsorship from the parade.
Politicians are retracting their support for the parade and even the Mayor of Boston has said he will not attend if the policy doesn't change.
With added pressure from concerned citizens like you we can ensure that Anheuser-Busch is the first of many sponsors to pull its funding of the homophobic parade.
Homophobia has no place in society and corporations need to know that sponsoring this type of hate is not acceptable.
Please join me in signing today to stop Anheuser-Busch's sponsorship of the parade.
