• Amendment 23 would ensure no government could be forced to choose between child safety online and securing a trade deal.
• This is so important because tech giants want to use the upcoming US-UK trade deal to undermine laws that help safeguard children’s data online and protect them from the worst aspects of the internet. 
• Amendment 6 would stop the government hashing out post-Brexit trade deals in secret by giving parliament a vote on proposed deals.
• This is crucial -- so much is at stake in post-Brexit trade deals, from the NHS to food safety standards and workers' rights -- we need proper oversight. 
• Ministers have acknowledged the need for transparency and scrutiny. Now is the time to enshrine this in law.
