As a public-facing company, Credit Suisse definitely doesn’t want us to expose its REAL behaviour behind the respectable image.

Thanks to your incredible people power, you’ve already forced one of the largest American banks, Citigroup, to drop its support for polluting and destructive coal mining companies. Now we can do the same for European bank Credit Suisse, for all its dirty mining projects! 

Credit Suisse finances at least three companies that dump -- or plan to dump -- millions of tonnes of toxic mining waste in this beautiful Norwegian fjörd, Papua New Guinea and in Turkey.

Mining waste doesn’t just disappear when it’s dumped into the ocean. It's a chemical cocktail, which can contain mercury, arsenic, lead and more than three dozen other pollutants. The waste can suffocate marine life and poison the water where local people fish and swim.

Yet Credit Suisse is still profiting from this irreversible destruction.
