Amazon, Uber, Lyft, and other delivery companies are making big bucks -- thanks to coronavirus.
But while execs cash in, vulnerable drivers and couriers are left exposed -- many of them aren’t allowed to take *one single* sick day!
We can help force change in this greedy industry. Under pressure from the public -- including 60,000+ SumOfUs members -- Uber, Lyft, and Hermes have already announced they’ll give some sick pay to drivers diagnosed with coronavirus or ordered into quarantine.
We’re getting there, but it’s not yet good enough. We need bolder tactics if we want Amazon to join in, and others to extend their policy to drivers who haven’t been tested.
So here’s our next move: we’re going to run an unprecedented poll of drivers to expose what companies have told them or promised -- then publish the results across the media.
Can you chip in what you can to help run this survey and win real sick pay for delivery drivers?
