Austria is on the verge of passing a law to finally ban glyphosate.
The historic ban was derailed because of a ‘technical error’ in January -- Bayer was thrilled its star poison could survive.
But now the bill has been sent to Brussels to fix the ‘error’ -- meaning we’re closer than ever to securing this nature protection law.
You can bet Bayer’s lobbyists will be all over the EU to scupper this ban in its tracks. If we don’t get louder than Bayer lobbyists, this historic first glyphosate ban could fall apart again. If Bayer succeeds in destroying the first ever comprehensive glyphosate ban, why would any other government even try?
But if you chip in today to run polls in Austria, you can prove to EU decision makers that people want glyphosate out for good. It’s our best shot at drowning out Bayer’s loud lobbyists -- but for it to work we have to act right now.
Can you chip in to save the glyphosate ban?
