From the beginning, SumOfUs has been at the forefront of fighting for workers' rights.
One of our very first campaigns was getting justice for workers in Bangladesh, after thousands died in a factory collapse. We worked closely with partners around the world and on the ground in Bangladesh to harness the power of global consumers to pressure clothing brands do the right thing for garment workers.
And we won: big brands like H&M and Zara have signed a fire safety accord to protect workers. And we're working to keep them accountable.
We've worked on workers' rights campaigns all around the world. In the UK, we fought off a bill that would drastically water down workers' rights to organise. In the US, we've supported partners to fight for a living wage -- and we've won in states like New York and New Jersey.
But the work's not done. And with your help, we can make sure that corporations don't get away with putting their bottomline above the health and safety of people.
Can you please chip in to support workers' rights campaigning?
