Every single day, customers leave Lowe’s hardware stores across North America with a cancer-linked weed killer in hand.
That product is Bayer-Monsanto's RoundUp, a pesticide chock full of toxic glyphosate. The pesticide giant just settled 47,000 lawsuits totaling $11bn from RoundUp users who've developed cancer after using its product.
But despite the mounting evidence that RoundUp is toxic, you can still buy it at Lowe’s -- the world’s second-largest hardware store chain.
It's time for Lowe's CEO Marvin Ellison to stop peddling dangerous glyphosate to his customers. And we've got a plan to make him do just that.
Ellison is highly sensitive to how Lowe's is perceived in its headquarters of Charlotte, North Carolina.
With your donation, we’ll take out hard-hitting full-page ads in his hometown paper -- and put his toxic glyphosate sales on full display. But we need to act quick -- Lowe’s is already stocking RoundUp ahead of the spring growing season.
Will you chip in to get toxic glyphosate off the shelves?
